The Confident Woman Devotional - Day 8
The Heart of a King When the queen of Sheba heard of (the constant connection of [the fame of Solomon with the name of the Lord, she came to prove him with hard questions (problems and riddles).... When she had come to Solomon, she communed with him about all that was in her mind. - 1 Kings 10:1-2
I always have so much on my mind.
It's been great starting this year off dedicating every day with time to just dive into a devotional and meditate on verses from the bible. I truly believe that there's an importance to communing with others and sharing the things you learn and think about. Why else would people who "lose it" start talking to themselves? It needs to get out.
A lot of us have plenty on our minds but rarely do we ask real questions and seek out real answers. A lot of our questions end up rhetorical and our curiosity gets us nowhere. Curiosity probably killed the cat because her mind exploded from all the unanswered questions that started filling up all the space in her brain. (what?)
I always have so much on my mind. I may not be able to verbally share everything with others, but I'll say what I can, write what I can, type what I can, do what I can, & sing what I can.
Because I can.
Lord, let my thoughts not just be lingering nothings. Let my thoughts turn into actions and become true somethings.
